Bus service
We support a bus service to help children from outlying areas and those attending child care at Burkett Drive to get to the kindergarten.
The cost for this service is $30 per term. Talk to us if you would like to use this service.
Please let us know in advance if your child will be absent from bus travel.
Additional information
Always bring your child into the kindy. If someone else is collecting your child, inform us in person, by phone or with a signed letter of consent.
Please speak with our education team who will be happy to support your child if they experience separation difficulties.
Please encourage your child to leave their toys at home because we have a variety of resources your child can use to engage with our environment.
We are an allergy aware centre and ask that you do not send any foods containing nuts for the wellbeing of our children and families.
Our healthy eating policy supports wellbeing through encouraging life-long healthy eating practices. We ask that you send healthy food (fresh fruit, crackers and cheese, sandwiches, salad/vegetables and cold meats). Please do not send lollies, chocolate, chips or sugary drinks). Please read our healthy eating policy (PDF 188KB) for more details.
Occasional care
Occasional care is for children under school age who aren’t in any other early childhood education and care programs, such as preschool, childcare or family day care. It promotes young children’s development by giving them access to high-quality early childhood education.
It may help parents to take part in a range of activities including non-work and casual work commitments.
Priority of access
The education department has a priority of access policy to decide who can get into occasional care. This might mean that some families get more sessions than others.
Talk to us about enrolling in occasional care.
Times
Sessions are at Coronation Road only.
