This program is run by our community development coordinator, who provides and coordinates services to cater to your family's needs.

Circle of Security parenting program

This program is run by our community development coordinator and allied health staff for 6 weeks during the term.

It covers:

• understanding your child's needs
• helping your child organise their feelings and feel secure in their relationships
• helping your child engage more in play and learning
• meeting your child's emotional needs through tough times (challenging behaviours, tantrums, attention seeking, being clingy)
• managing your thoughts and feelings.

Times

This program is held when there is enough interest so the course times change throughout the year.  Please talk to a staff member to find out when the next course is running or to register your interest and availability.  After-hours courses are also possible depending on interest.

Cost

Free.

A free creche is available during sessions held when the centre is open.

What to bring

You don't need to bring anything to participate in the course.

If your child is attending the creche, they will need:

• a sun hat
• water bottle
• change of clothes  
• nappy changing items
• comfort items (eg dummy).
