Fees

The parent contribution is $140 per term. See our enrolment and fees page for more information.

What to bring

Children need to bring these items each day:

  • bag
  • bucket, legionnaire or broad-brimmed style hat (a hat is included in your child's transition fees)
  • change of clothes
  • drink bottle containing water
  • 2 healthy snacks (fresh fruit or vegetable sticks)
  • packed healthy lunch (sandwich, wrap, rice cake, salad, fruit, yoghurt).

As a sustainable preschool we encourage families to reduce, reuse and recycle. Please put your child's food in a multi-compartment lunch box or small containers. Zip lock bags will be sent home for reuse and wrappers will be sent home for disposal. Whole fruits are great, as we can compost the scraps.

Your child should put their snack and lunch box in their tray. In hot weather, please put an ice pack with your child's lunch as we are unable to keep lunches in the fridge.

Your child should wear old clothes or preschool logo clothing (PDF 184KB) so they can get dirty. Your child's shoes should be suitable for running and climbing. Velcro shoes and sandals are easiest for children to manage by themselves.

We sell preschool-logo t-shirts, windcheaters and polo shirts. Wearing preschool clothes gives your child a sense of belonging and protects their good clothes.

Please write your child’s name clearly on their bag and on all their belongings.

What not to bring

Children should not bring these things:

  • food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
  • unhealthy food or drink (lollies, chips, muesli bars, roll ups, fruit juice, cordial, fizzy drinks)
  • plastic wrap and pre-packaged foods
  • toys from home.

Additional information

We will celebrate your child's birthday by singing and presenting them with a birthday certificate. You may like to bring a platter of fruit to help celebrate your child's special day (no cakes or lolly bags). Birthday invitations may be placed in pigeon holes for parents to collect. Please do not allow your child to hand invitations out as this can be hurtful to children not invited.

Forgotten or lost items will be placed in your child's pigeon hole or in the lost property box. Please check these often.

We regularly take photos of all children which we place in their folders and display around the preschool. Photos are not put on the internet without your permission. Permission slips are completed when you enrol your child. A professional photographer will take a group and individual photographs which you may like to purchase.

We work closely with all neighbouring schools and encourage you to choose a school suitable for your child. Let us know where your child will attend school and we will work with the school to ensure they understand the needs and interests of your child.

Please read our drop-off and pick-up procedure (PDF 137KB).

Playgroup

Playgroup is a time for local families to meet each other and enjoy our facilities. It is an opportunity for children who are not yet at school to develop skills. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Our playgroup is coordinated by a volunteer, and it is a condition of membership that you assist them to clean up and be respectful of others.

We are available during playgroup to discuss your child’s needs and it gives us a chance to make connections with your child.

Times

Playgroup is on Friday mornings 9.00am to 10.30am (except the last Friday of each term).

Cost

This program costs $3 per week or $20 for the term.

What to bring

Children should bring a piece of fruit or other nut-free snack and a water bottle.

Additional information

The first time you come to playgroup, please fill out a personal details form so we have your contact details and can be aware of any health issues.

As part of our sustainable preschool policy, please take nappies home for disposal.
