Community engagement

Community development program

Our community development coordinator works to increase support for babies, children and families in our community. The program's philosophy is that when children and families are included, connected and informed, they have greater opportunities to thrive.

We partner with a range of local services and organisations to help children and families participate at the centre and engage with the wider community.

Ask us for a flyer or for more information.

Parent information sessions and workshop

We hold multiple parent information sessions throughout the year, including:

  • first aid for parents and carers of babies and young children
  • sessions to support toilet training, sleep and settling, establishing routines, and transitions
  • workshops to support your understanding of the ages and stages of your child's development, supporting their big emotions, and mindful parenting
  • parenting courses such as Circle of Security and Bringing Up Great Kids.

Please speak to us or see what's happening for more information.

Community engagement

We value the community's voice and contribution to our centre. You can engage with us in many ways, such as:

  • joining your child in preschool for reading
  • sharing your culture or celebrating special events
  • volunteering with one of our many programs
  • helping us to plan future programs
  • having your say by joining the governing council.
