What we offer - Tanunda Kindergarten

We offer a number of programs and services to support your child’s early years learning.

Preschool program


Your child can attend preschool for up to 15 hours per week.

You can choose any 2 full days from Monday to Thursday.

When enrolling you can have the option to receive 3 Friday sessions per term.

If chosen, your child will be assigned to either the Orange group or Green group when they enrol to show when their sessions will be provided.

The parent contribution is $125 per term. If your child is not attending the Friday sessions the parent contribution will be $110 per term. See our enrolment and fees page for more information.

What to bring

Your child needs to bring these items each day:

•    bag
•    broad-brimmed, legionnaire or sun-safe hat (without chin straps)
•    a spare change of clothes
•    drink bottle containing water
•    healthy snack
•    packed lunch with cooling blocks
•    fruit to share
•    health care plan (if your child requires medication) see our health and wellbeing policy (PDF 576KB)

Please write your child’s name on all their belongings.

What not to bring

Children should not bring these things

•    food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
•    unhealthy food or drink (lollies, chocolate, chips, fizzy drinks)
•    toys from home as they may become lost or broken.

Daily routine

8.30amarrival, unpack bags, lunches and water bottle

12.00pm to 12.45pm lunch and relaxation time
12.45pm to 3.15pminside and outside play including combined fruit snack
3.15pm to 3.30pmlast mat and dismissal, including packing up time.


Our playgroup is a great way to connect with other Barossa Valley families and the wider community. Children from ages 0 to 5 years can attend.  You and your child can meet new friends, talk with staff and get to learn about our kindy. 


10.00am to 11.30am, Fridays from week 2 to week 9 of each term.

Additional information

After your second session, you'll need to become a member of Playgroup SA. Our playgroup is coordinated by 1 of our preschool staff members.
