What we offer

We offer a number of programs and services to support your child’s early years learning.

Fees

The parent contribution is $145 per term or $580 per annum. See our enrolment and fees page for more information.

What to bring

Children need to bring these items each day:

  • bag
  • broad brimmed or legionnaire hat (terms 1, 3, 4, and when UV  levels are over 3)
  • change of clothes
  • drink bottle containing water
  • healthy snack (fruit or vegetable sticks)
  • packed healthy lunch (sandwich, wrap, salad, roti, rice, dip, savoury biscuits, fruit, cheese).

Children eat their snack together on the mat. Please do not send yoghurt or messy food that can easily be spilt. Snacks are kept in your child's bag.

Children sit at a table for lunch, so yoghurt can be eaten then. We are unable to keep children's lunch in the fridge or heat it up. Please put an ice block inside your child's lunch box if the weather is hot. Your child should put their lunch in the tub when they arrive. The tub is kept inside until lunch time.

Children should wear comfortable and old clothes so they can get dirty. Their shoes should be suitable for running and climbing.

Please write your child’s name on the outside of all their belongings. This helps children to be independent in caring for their things and to recognise their name. Please check our lost property box often.

What not to bring

Children should not bring these things:

  • food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
  • unhealthy food or drink (lollies, chocolate, chips, fizzy drinks)
  • toys from home, as these can become lost or broken.

We encourage nude food. Please do not send processed or packaged food.

Additional information

Your child's birthday is celebrated with a pretend cake and singing happy birthday. Please do not send a birthday cake or other treats to share.

Our making table often needs bits and pieces. We will let you know when we need paper, cardboard, magazines, egg cartons, buttons, wool, string and boxes.

We encourage children to share their experiences with us. If your child has been on a special outing or holiday, they might like to bring in a photograph or drawing to show us.

Please read our drop-off and pick-up procedure (PDF 65KB).

Occasional Care

Occasional care is for children under school age who aren’t in any other early childhood education and care programs, such as preschool, child care or family day care. It promotes young children’s development by giving them access to high-quality early childhood education.

It may help parents to take part in a range of activities including non-work and casual work commitments.

Priority of access

The education department has a priority of access policy to decide who can get into occasional care. This might mean that some families get more sessions than others.

Talk to us about enrolling in occasional care.
