What to bring

Children need to bring these items each day:

  • bag
  • hat
  • change of clothes including underwear and socks
  • plastic drink bottle containing water
  • healthy snack (fruit or vegetable sticks)
  • packed healthy lunch (sandwich, salad, cheese, wraps, cold rolls).

Your child's lunch box is placed in the green esky. In hot weather, include a cold pack in their lunch box.

Please write your child’s name on all their belongings.

What not to bring

Children should not bring these things:

  • food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
  • food high in sugar and salt (cakes, lollies, chocolate, chips, muesli bars, fruit bars)
  • drinks high in sugar (flavoured milk, soft drinks)
  • toys from home.

Additional information

On your child's birthday they wear a special jacket and hat, and we sing Happy Birthday. Please do not send in cakes or lollies. Your child can share a small platter of fruit.

We often do cooking as part of our curriculum. Please let us know if there is any food your child can't eat due to cultural, religious or health reasons.

You and your child can borrow books, puzzles, and numeracy and literacy kits from our library. Please record your loan in the borrowing book and let us know if something is broken or missing.

Help us collect and recycle lots of odds and ends for our collage table. Please do not send in toilet rolls, medicine containers or glass jars.

Please read our drop-off and pick-up procedure (PDF 61KB).

Inclusive preschool program

We have a specialised program to support children who are deaf, hard of hearing or from Deaf families. It is a language-rich bilingual program, and uses both English and Auslan (Australian sign language).
