Home - Mount Barker Kindergarten

We work with families and the community to make sure all children have the best opportunities to develop and learn. We provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Our values are trust and respect, nurturing and caring, responsibility and empowerment. Our philosophy is based on our vision and our motto: play, learn, grow.

You can find out more about our goals and our focus in our philosophy statement (PDF 69KB).

Governing council

You can join the governing council at any time through the year. The governing council makes decisions that the support the safe and efficient operation of the kindergarten. Meetings are usually held twice a term at night. Parents or guardians serving on the governing council will need to do Responding to Abuse and Neglect training for volunteers, which we will arrange.

Read through what a governing council does. For more specific detail on Mount Barker Kindergarten's governing council, see our constitution (PDF 667KB).
