Enrolment and fees

Enrolling your child

You can register your interest to enrol your child with us by using the preschool registration of interest form. This form is also available from us.

Try to register your interest by 30 June, but you can do this any time during the year.

Priority is given to children living in our catchment area.

If you live outside our catchment area you need to enrol at your local preschool first to be sure of a place.

Once that is completed we are happy to add your application to the waiting list, however, is does not guarantee a place.

We follow the Department for Education enrolment policy and offer spaces to local families in our first round of offers (August each year).

If we have any spaces after the first round we offer vacancies to families outside of our catchment area (September each year).

You can accept any offer by filling in and returning the acceptance slip by the due date.

Before your child starts

We encourage you to attend the STAY & PLAY  sessions offered in Term 4.  We also plan information sessions in Term 4. This is an opportunity to learn more about our preschool and where you can ask any questions.

If your child has additional needs please email the Director dl.3666.leaders@schools.sa.edu.au by May so that a mutually convenient time can be made to meet and discuss your child's needs.

Fees

Families are asked to contribute towards the cost of your child attending preschool. This helps to pay for paints, paper, games, books, puzzles and resources for the children, buildings and nature play garden maintenance.

The parent contribution is $760 per year. You can choose to pay the total amount at the beginning of the year or to pay instalments of $190 each term.

The fees are decided upon by the Governing Council which is responsible for wise and equitable management of the preschool and sets the budget.

We offer other programs (like excursions) that may have additional costs

When to pay

We will invoice you each term. Your invoice will be placed in your child's note pocket.

Payments are due by week 5.

Please contact us if you are having difficulty paying.
